     This Foundation offers  grants for families in need of financial assistance to help pay for their children’s medical care or equipment that is not covered, or not fully covered, by their commercial health insurance plan. Qualifying families can receive up to $5,000 to help pay for medical services and equipment, such as physical, occupational and speech therapies, counseling services, surgeries, prescriptions, wheelchairs, and hearing aids. Grants are available for medical expenses incurred 60 days prior to the date of application as well as for on‐going and future medical needs. To be eligible for a grant, children must be 16 years old or younger. Families must meet economic guidelines and have commercial health insurance (which does not include Medicaid or Medicare). Parents or legal guardians may apply for grantS. there is no application deadline.

Easter Seals Oklahoma provides financial assistance to purchase medical equipment and services for children with disabilities up to age 18. Applications can be submitted year round and are based on the needs of the individual and family. Applicants must include information about the financial need of the family, the child’s disability, and how the requested equipment or services will improve the child’s quality of life. Examples of eligible equipment and services include hearing aids, wheelchairs, prosthethic devices, and physical therapy. Assistance is provided in the form of the requested item or service and is based on the availability of funds.
